Visual identity
Visual identity is a big topic. Is it logo design? Yes. Is it something to do with branding? Also a yes. Visual identity design is design of personality for a company, brand, individual business. It can include a logo, it defines colors, typography, illustration, photo, web etc. styles. In a sense all of the elements that define visual aspects of a brand.
I love working on visual identity projects since they require an understanding of what the business is all about, and a great deal of creativity and trials until reaching a solution that’s just right.
Below are examples of various projects – primarily of logo marks I created.
In 2017 I worked with an NGO called Faircap Angels, who were based in Thailand and worked on projects for Myanmar charities. My first project was to create a visual ideinty for Grace Home, which served as both an orphanage and a shelter for battered women.
Visual identity/logo mark for l’Ange Epure a Bangkok based beauty company. (Another branding/identity project with Fairfax Angels)
Visual identity/branding for the Summit, a yearly conference in medical technology organized by coliquio GmbH.
Visual identity and package design for a beeswax soap/natural products company based in Bonn, Germany.
Visual identity/logo mark for 5 elements acupuncture, private acupuncture practice based in Bristol, UK..
Visual identity for two cultural projects for the Polish – Catalan association, Barcelona, Spain.
Another projects for Faircap Angels, for Halcyon beads, a handmade beads company.
Brand development and visual identity for Wiser Together, a medical tech company with whom I worked from 2012-2013 in Washington DC.
